I'm adding more detail by creating plastic feathers, made from cable ties and the same tape....

show preparations! it's that time of year!

 I decided to continue the crow series, refining the material to a waterproof agricultural tape, and the form to a larger silhouetted creature....

 

This proved more effective when encorporated with the fixtures on the ceiling...

 

 

April

so I got distracted during the rat series.... during the niceweather we had a guest in the studios...

The beginning of the rat series

Playing with installation of the work and narratives within it.

So this is a rat made of grey duct tape... From discussions the crows brought out confessions of bird phobias with a couple of people viewing the work... im not particularly fond of rats... so maybe it would be interesting to create a series of these little guys...

Beginning of March

This week I've been drawing again to try grasp a better idea of what dynamic I want to create between the crows... I almost forgot how much I love to draw.
